Ik zuban hai muh vich mere gunan da ehde ant nahin;
Na jamya na keeta hoya is jaisa bhagwant nahin.
Lafani di sift kare jo fani di ki himmat ey;
Sagar sahven boond nimani bol sake ki takat ey.
Sabh datan da data hoke aap na khanda peenda ey;
Eh na vass kaal de aave eh azalan ton jeenda ey.
Sant hari de ese ik nun pal pal paye dhyande ne;
Paak te komal gur charna te pal pal sees jhukande ne.
Aise gur de darshan karke toonhi toonhi kehnde raho;
Kahe avtar guru nun poojo charna utte dhahande raho.

I have only one tongue, and God has countless attributes;
God is neither born, nor created by anyone and no deity is like Him.
How can a mortal describe the glory of the immortal?
How can a tiny drop describe the vastness of the Ocean?
God is the source of all bounties, but He Himself does not eat or drink anything;
He is eternal, beyond time, ever existent since times immemorial.
The saints of God remember only this One every moment;
They bow at the pious and noble feet of the True Master every moment.
After meeting such a True Master, keep on reciting "Tu Hi-Tu Hi” [Thou Formless One];
Avtar says, keep on worshiping the True Master and bowing at his holi feet.

Meaning
Man has only one tongue unlike the Formless One who has countless attributes. The Formless One is neither born nor created by anyone, and no divine character is like Him. How can a mortal speak of the glories of the immortal and how can a tiny drop define how an Ocean is? God is the source of all wealth, but He himself does not eat or drink anything. He is eternal and formless since the beginning of time. The saints of the True Master remember Him every moment. After meeting the True Master, one should keep on reciting “Thou Formless One”. Avtar Says, keep on preaching the True Master and bow at his holy feet.
